Payment commitment, made verifiable.

Nuvora Draft is a proposed Robinhood Chain payment protocol that lets a sender commit stablecoins to a specific payment without transferring them to the recipient immediately.

The recipient can inspect the Draft's amount, asset, recipient address, expiry and settlement rules. When the transaction is ready, the recipient redeems the Draft.

Core idea: a funds-backed onchain payment commitment. The protocol proves that the specified crypto assets are locked according to the rules displayed by the Draft.

Three layers

LayerPurpose

Nuvora VerifyThe interface for independent Draft status checks.
Nuvora StampThe cultural and collectible record of the event.

Robinhood Chain

Nuvora Draft is designed here for Robinhood Chain, a permissionless EVM-compatible Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum technology. Standard EVM wallets and Solidity tooling can be used with the network.

How a Draft works

A Named Draft specifies the recipient wallet when it is created. The intended first release centers on Named USDG Drafts for clarity and safer settlement.

Lifecycle

StatusMeaning
CreatedParameters prepared, funds not yet locked.
FundedThe full payment amount is inside the Draft vault.
IssuedThe Draft has been finalized and presented to its recipient.
RedeemedThe recipient has claimed the funds.
Expired / RefundedThe deadline passed and funds can return under the Draft rules.
Cancelled / RejectedThe Draft ended under its allowed cancellation or rejection path.

Cancellation modes

Irrevocable Drafts cannot be cancelled by the sender after issuance. Mutual cancellation requires both parties. Revocable Drafts allow sender cancellation and must be visually distinguished from irrevocable commitments.

Nuvora Verify

Verification is intended to show whether the Draft is authentic, fully funded, addressed to the connected wallet, subject to the stated cancellation rule and still within its redemption window.

Trust principle: Don't trust the screenshot. Verify the Draft.

A genuine verification flow should resolve back to cryptographically verifiable onchain state. A picture saying “verified” is not proof.

Stablecoin wording

A Draft can prove that a stated quantity of a token is locked. It cannot guarantee the token's external market value. Verification should therefore say “10,000 USDG locked,” rather than implying a guaranteed fiat value.

Security model

The project concept prioritizes the financial path over meme mechanics. Draft vaults should be controlled by deterministic smart-contract logic rather than manual custody.

  • No team custody of Draft funds.
  • No administrative function that can drain arbitrary active user Drafts.
  • Launch with a limited asset allowlist.
  • Verify exact funding before displaying FUNDED.
  • Check the designated recipient explicitly.
  • Reject replay of redeemed, refunded or cancelled Drafts.
  • Use checked financial arithmetic.
  • Design emergency pause logic so existing safe redemption or refund paths remain possible.

Onchain data

Critical financial state can include issuer, recipient, token, amount, expiry, status, rules and hashes. Sensitive names, phone numbers, contracts or customer records should not be written directly into public contract state.

Nuvora Docs / 05

Nuvora Stamp

Each issued or completed Draft can create a visual digital Stamp that records its status and history. The visual language is inspired by passport marks, postal seals, bank drafts and notary stamps.

The Draft controls the money. The Stamp represents the event. Stamp ownership should not automatically mean ownership of the underlying funds.

While a Draft is active, the safest design is for the right to redeem to remain entirely in the payment smart contract. After settlement, collectible versions of Stamps could later become transferable if the implementation makes that distinction unmistakable.

Risk information

Nuvora is a concept involving smart contracts, stablecoins and a memecoin. Each layer carries distinct risk.

  • Smart-contract risk: a flaw could affect locked funds.
  • Wrong-recipient risk: entering the wrong wallet can direct a Draft incorrectly.
  • Stablecoin risk: a token can lose value, depeg or be frozen.
  • Scam risk: fake verification pages or impersonation can mislead users.
  • Privacy risk: blockchain activity is public and can reveal transaction relationships.
  • Legal risk: payment, custody, AML/KYC and money-transmission rules vary by jurisdiction and business model.
  • Memecoin volatility: $NUVRDRFT may fluctuate dramatically.

FAQ

Is a Nuvora Draft the same as legal escrow?

No. The concept intentionally separates proof of committed funds from the broader question of who deserves funds when parties dispute a transaction. Full escrow introduces arbitration and evidence rules that are outside the narrow first-product scope.

What does Nuvora guarantee?

The narrow technical promise is that the specified crypto assets have been locked into the Draft contract according to the displayed rules. It does not guarantee the quality of a product, the honesty of a counterparty or the external value of a token.

Can the sender cancel after showing the Draft?

That depends on the cancellation mode. Irrevocable Drafts are intended to prevent sender cancellation after issuance. Mutual-cancel and revocable Drafts follow different rules and must be clearly labeled.

Does owning a Stamp mean I own the locked funds?

No. The Stamp is intended as proof or memorabilia. Redemption rights remain with the Draft contract and its designated recipient rules.

Does $NUVRDRFT back a USDG Draft?

No. A 10,000 USDG Draft should contain 10,000 USDG. The memecoin should not be used to determine whether the Draft is funded.

Where is the official contract address?

The contract address is read from the site's central configuration and will appear here when published: Contract address pending.
